I love this one by Titian. Apparently, he painted the entire canvas red first and painted everything from that red base. It brings a lot of vitality and life to the human figures he paints:

One of the most striking examples of the art of sculpture, can be found in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota - which officially opened in 1988. This garden consists of various larger-than-life sculptures, created by different artists. Of all of them, the sculpture created by Claes Oldenburg, and Coosje van Bruggen stands above the rest. It is entitled, Spoonbridge and Cherry, and was installed on May 9, 1988.
