Do you ever find there's any variation or fluctuation in which genders you're attracted to, or how you're attracted to them, based on the time of the month?

I don't know how long it's been going on, but I've begun to notice lately that when I'm ovulating I completely lose all interest in ladies for a few days and can only think about boning men. Which makes sense, biologically, seeing as I'm young and fertile. My body wants to get knocked up even though my mind knows it would be a terrible idea for me right now. I was wondering though if it's just me, or if this is a more widespread phenomenon?

Couldn't tell ya. I think about sex so often, it's hard to gauge, plus I live with my male sex partner so that kind of skews things.

Interesting question, though; I may start paying attention now.

The point you made about ovulation, though... I'm curious: doesn't that happen to all of us? When I ovulate not only does my body temperature rise like crazy, but all I can think of is getting porked. Repeatedly...and WELL.

I think guys can be affected by your ovulation cycle as well if they're around long enough. My last boyfriend used to lose his mind when I was ovulating. He stayed with me a short while while he was here on business from Japan, and being that close in proximity to an ovulating girlfriend made him sexually psychotic . I would be doing something in the kitchen, and he would just show up in the doorway and stare at me and say "you're fertile"...looking at me like a fat man looks at a grilled steak. Then at night he would wake me up whispering in my ear in Japanese, when I would ask him what the hell he was doing he would whisper "I'm searching for the egg...I'm looking for the egg...",

...then I kidna didn't have a choice what would happen after that
