I went one year, when my mom was visiting me in NYC. Once was enough for me. I actually live about 3 blocks from the beginning, last night our neighborhood was crazy with all the people who came the night before to see them blow up the balloons. The helicopters flying overhead woke me up this morning.
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

nod
I'm from NJ, and there are a lot of things we just take for granted around here.
I'm in the City all the time, but I've never been to the Statue of Liberty, I've eaten in the Houlihan's in the Empire State building, but I've never been to the top. Never seen the Spectacular, the Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center, or the Thanksgiving Parade.... shrug
It still hurts that I'd never been to the World Trade Center. I was planning to go there over the Jewish holidays (the week AFTER 9/11) with my Mom. sad

I'm sorry honey, but I have to agree with your son on this one. lol I used to love watching it when I was little, but now as an adult, it's boring as hell. Maybe when I have kids it'll be exciting again. But I watched some more episodes of "snapped" instead. lol
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
