I thought it was about change?

Does a moral high ground mean going to another site and telling everybody what's good for them? What they should be like? What they should call themselves? Or calling people out for "changing" when they haven't just because they don't agree with you?

Don't people have a right to do and post what they want and to disagree with you if they want without being called moralistic or saying that they have changed? This seem really hypocritical of you. And you seem really upset despite your smiley faces.

But again, you say things in such a general way that it's hard to say. This at least has remained the same. A pattern of provocation that gets people riled up for no discernible reason.

I haven't noticed anyone changing except you, honestly.

As you can see by now I did reply, although I don't know what difference it makes, since as you are famous for saying people have the right to respond or not as they see fit. Or is that only you?

There has certainly been a change and I am not the one who has done it... I post EXACTLY as I always have and there are some, you included, who have decided that it is not okay anymore. I find it very amusing and I find it very hypocritical of you to act like you haven't changed.

I've changed, I haven't changed, who cares? What business it of yours? Why does this affect you? I am no longer interested in your Fam obsession. Not that I ever was. Why do you care? I'd rather change than cling to some tired principles of Fam-hating nonsense. I don't think I've changed anyway, whatever... We're not always the best judges of whether wehave changed or the effect that we have on others...

I don't care if anyone agrees with me at all... in fact, I try to post things where people are certain to disagree with me most of the time because it is fun to do.

Fun for you. Not for most. And obviously I am not the only one who feels that way. Just the only one who makes it public. Maybe that's becauseof the way you browbeat people?I noticed you said you wanted to take it to orgnote, but you object when other people do that. What's it gonna be?

I have not changed that in ANY way, yet people who were cool with it in the past seem to have a problem with it since the org blackout. I find this funny and I find it very funny that you are on the front-lines of defending the changelings.

Oh great, "changeling," you've introduced another term that will get tired soon. rolleyes I was never cool or not cool with you. Stuff I didn't like I ignored. Now it's getting tired. I've always had a low threshold for tripe. People's opinions change all the time, so what? You make this sound like a bad thing.

This wouldn't have to be on the forums if you would reply to orgnotes, but that is a bit hard to do sometimes.

My answer to your question (and ignoring the CHAT ROOM chatter taking place in this thread), simply,
the stress of expectation.

That you have to give presents...that you have to go to family gatherings...that you have to go to those stupid office parties...that you have to get the RIGHT gift...

And on top of that, you have to set large amounts of time and money to fulfill what is expected of you during Christmas.

No wonder there's all this cheery music, so you can be forced to bear it and force a smile on your face!

But I love the holidays, just that you have to identify that in reality, it's just a lot of things you have to do or are expected to do to make others happy.

But of course that is if you want to. But then again...they call you a Scrooge...that's when you start gettin' pissy. It's manipulative in a way...strange.

"Don't let nobody, bring ya' down!"

Haven't you ever felt that relief when January 2nd or 3rd comes around?
