A couple of friends of mine broke up and I don't know how to feel. It's never something to be happy about, as such, when a couple with a child break up, but it's probably for the best and it feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I can now see my super-duper best friend (her) more often and without feeling uncomfortable in any way. My old friend (him) who I've so much history with I'm still going to see, so that's ok, though could be awkward if he always want to talk about her when we're together and stir up some drama. All in all I'm happy though. It's so hard being involved in friends' situations like that, trying to support them but remain neutral and not get in the way or make things worse.

my sweet sister died this year on january 29th. i so miss not being able to talk to her over this christmas holiday.

she was music (piano, violin and voice)
she was smiles (always caring about others feelings trying to make them smile)
she was all about love (would cry for a hurting friend or shed tears if she saw a suffering animal)
she was about joy (always seeking out the best in others)
she was beautiful (brown skinned, shiny black haired native alaskan indian/african american mixed)
she was a part of who i am (always reminding me how much she loved me and how wonderful (she felt) i am)

i will wait and look for next spring's first rainbow. in my heart i know it will remind me of her, my (now heavenly) sister. she gave me and others who knew her the many colors of her love.....beautifully.
