 Might be at home for Xmas after all. My wife blabbed her big mouth, caused all kinds of problems and I've mixed feelings about it all, but I won't lie. It'll be nice to be home tomorrow if indeed that happens. Need to find a van to take us to Cambodia sometime before the new year though. If we do I'm doing it right and making a nice trip out of it. I'm with you, this is my first christmas without my grandmother. who passed on may 7 2009 R.I.P. but your grandfather lived a very long life and that is something to be greatfull about. sorry 2 hear man and desiree too, my grandparents on my mom side are still with me although they're in and out of the hospital alot just gotta be thankful for the time theyre still here with me.

Sorry about your grandfather I'm in a similar situation. My grandmother passed away just over a month ago. My family is only celebrating because it's my nephew's first Christmas. It's going to be a tough day for sure sorry to hear jess and a loss will never be easy and always be heavy even if it's expected a physical presence and spirit is surely felt and it feels empty without... theres never a manual on dealing with any of it truly.
