So, today was court day for some of the young people i work with... and one kid (the counterfeiter, ZK, ) was so scared he passed out.

I had to run back and forth between his appearance and his brother who was in drug court at the same time. All on my burned foot! 4 levels of stairs!
I was thinking with all that loot he was trying to make he could have bought me a new foot!

altho i kid a lot, i.love.my.life.

was that coincidence or you knew that?!

I knew it, but i didn't think the little one was gonna fall out like that. Shoot, he already has a bunch of felonies!

have you ever gone out when the temp was near zero or below and blown bubbles and watched them turn into ice and sink down to the ground?

i've always wanted to run through the snow wearing just my trainers, but i don't want to be arrested, photographed, or stared at. i just want to know what it feels like.

I had to look up what you meant by trainers

and why would you want to do that!

i'm an uptight person. it seems like it would be liberating...

I feel a bit better now, having completed the job interview. It went rather well I think... I will find out for sure before the weekend if I got the job. I was pleasantly surprised that one of the two women interviewing me worked as my supervisor many years ago.
However while I was happy after the interview I was not too happy getting a letter from a government agency telling me the desk job I had applied for at the agency had been filled.
There were actually three people who got the same kind of job and since it's a government job they were mentioned by name. After a quick Google search I found out that one of the folks who got the job (I'm sure it's him because he has a rather unique name) was only 20 years old and barely out of high school, while I have a B.A. degree in political science which I think should have helped me with this particular job even though such a degree was not a requirement for the job.....
It's not that I wouldn't be happy getting the other job but it pisses me off that someone less qualified is getting the government job instead of me.

and???... I've got 16 more yrs...so...

Things happen for a reason sometimes. You might not have liked that other job and would want to leave. Hang in there....your ship is just around the corner.
