Prehistoric Super-Crocodiles May Have Dined on Dinosaurs Check this out:
The Age of Dinosaurs may have been dominated by dinosaurs, but they certainly weren't the only fearsome creatures around. A series of remarkable discoveries by a team led by Paul Sereno, a paleontologist at the University of Chicago and a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence, has made it clear that another, less celebrated group of animals lived alongside the dinos, and sometimes even dined on those better-known cousins. http://www.time.com/time/...ml?cnn=yes

Well, pterodactyls were not dinosaurs. Pterodactyls were flying reptiles. So a croc would be a prehistoric reptile, not a dinosaur.

I dunno, all I know is my son watches a show called Dinosaur Train and they explained that Pterodactyls were not dinosaurs but flying reptiles called Pterosaurs and sea reptiles were called Plesiosaurs. I believe that Dinosaurs were actually avian, not reptiles.

My son is two young to have any input, he said "don't be silly daddy, dinosaurs are no more and crocodiles still exsist" Can't argue with that! Why is nobody else intrested in this thread? Maybe if the Dinos were having sex with the crocs it would have more intrest? Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Dino's are reptiles per say, they are the appeared after the age of repitile and maybe the transition between reptile and avian You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

So now that is established, back to my first comment/question, are prehistoric crocs actually dinosaurs? Or did the genetic divergence come before our friend here: Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!
