Me and my friends are talking about people who like talking about a person in a negative way,even if the person their talking about did something good or bad.

I told them I dont care because everyone is not gonna like you,no matter what.

To me if a person stays on your case,either they like you,or they wish they were you.

Or they really want you to pay them attention.

I dont mind people talking about me,but just keep it to yourself or dont say it.

Rappers on the other hand lololol...go around shooting people lol.

Dependin on who said it (close friend/family/bf/gf) and what was said, it will bother or hurt at times (less than more though).

If they're people I care about,,,,then yeah it affects me.

When it's somebody who knows me, (like my dad...) it will bother me for a while. I usually get over it in my own time. When it's the average Joe or Jane who has only seen me for three seconds, I couldn't give a crap. It's usually a recycle opinion. If it's a friend or a confidant, I might take it to heart like a fam.

I'm a lil sensitive so negativity does get to me. If it's for a true benefit, of course I listen. But if it's just jealousy or opinion, I usually leave it. A lot of people think they know what's best for ya.

Usually when people are on your case in a negative way it means your doing something wrong (i.e. you’re bugging them).
So it you don't like it you need to stop what you're doing and they'll just go away.

nobody stays on my case, I think I've outgrown any reason for that to happen...when I was younger and that did happen, I either ignored it or told 'em to fuck off or made the changes that needed to be made...

and, if by chance you're talking about the shit posted in theses forums, directed at you specifically, I think you should ignore them...I see alot of shit thrown at you, maybe some of it is deserved but some of it is grown folks that should take their own advice and grow up/mature...it's amazing how easy it is to ignore somebody in an online forum but most choose not to do so, especially when it involves people they bitch about the most...there's people here that I could care less about but you won't catch me replying to every post they make or posting a snarky comment when they spew their stupid shit...

Do I care? Only to a certain extent, and it depends on the situation. If you did something bad, it is a sign that you must be checked, but they didn't have the nerve to confront you. If it's good, as you stated you can't please everyone or they wish they were you.
