This was screened at 11:00p.m.?

Why are people complaining? If it was screened at midday, why would people complain?

Exactly. It's his gimmick I guess. I don't understand why I liked him on Idol, because looking back, he's a bit of a one-trick pony. He does have some potential with his voice, but his use of it is getting REALLY pathetic.
I wonder if they use this video as a torture device in Gitmo:

I think the most offensive thing about his performance was how crappy that song is.

I mean, Lambert was simulating sucking, but that song sucks for real.

There we go.

Why is this performance even being spoken about at all? The shock tactic performance has already been done damn near 40 years ago, and by someone who actually is talented.

I wonder how Bowie feels about acts like Lambert, Lady Gaga, and other jacking his schtick? hmmm

IMO you'd be mistaken. Maybe the whitebread, middle-America crowd of straight women wouldn't, but millions of straight women LOVE watching two or more guys get their freak on. You never wondered why tv shows like Queer As Folk had a mostly straight female audience, or why so much manga/anime aimed at young women has gay male love stories? Or for that matter, why "slash' fan fiction, a genre largely written by hetero women, exists?

Answer: for the man lovin'.

In my experience, most women have a problem when it's their man getting his freak on with another guy. Unlike many men which would love to see their gf with another woman.

Not me, and none of the women I associate with would feel that way, but then, we're probably not representative. shrug

The guy I currently have a thing with also sleeps with men. I don't quite understand his taste in guys, but it bothers me none.

ABC Cancelled his morning gig:
http://tv.yahoo.com/news/...erformance
An ABC News spokesperson tells Access, "Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."

Adam:
"I don't feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It's just the fact that I'm me and it's a little different for people. It's really not that big of a deal. I'm not a babysitter, I'm a performer biggrin," he added.

He was smart to at least try something.

For every Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood there are many Bo Bice & Justin Guarinis.

Adam is trying way too hard for attention. I'm afraid it's gonna turn around a bite him in the ass. He's trying for shock value and controversy like Prince did in the day, but I don't think it's working for him. He's just turning people off! disbelief

I disagree. The way he's performed in the past is what he's doing now. He's being himself, he's not doing it for the sake of shock. He's BEEN doing crazy shit in the past. Of course he's going to tone it down on a show like American Idol, but if you take out A.I., the segue from before A.I. to now is seamless.

He's turning off those who want someone for a new witch hunt.

Other than the fact I don't think he can't sing worth a damn, I had no problem with what he did.

Screechy McScreecherson needs to go the hell away. It's so annoying to me that this talentless freak is bringing out so many homophobic comments, which makes me want to defend him.

There it is in a nutshell!

Was the whole point of his gimmicky performance to mask his obvious lack of singing talent?? I don't watch AI, but if this is what the finalists sound like these days, I'm not going to start shake
If you will, so will I
