I really hoped Mike Tyson would retire after watching his last fight. I don't really like boxing, but I watched him lose to Lennox and I guess I was expecting to see the Iron Mike I watched when I was little and it was definately not the same guy.

Ugh... yeah, Tyson and Lennox... Tyson was not the same boxer he used to be in that fight. I'm going with Etienne (whoever that is).

no matter how Shot Mike Tyson may be the Guy is still the People's Champion&the Fighter You Either Love or Hate.nobody else can get under your skin like Mike.Mike can last until He is 50 just on Past Reputation alone&He probably will.when the HeavyWeight Division is trying too Put some more Ass on Roy Hones Jr's Build too Bulk up in Weight too Fight that right there says we don't have much that people want too see.of course Holyfield is gonna Fight until he is 49 as well or so it seems??but Unlike Mike Holyfield has plenty of "EARS" too feed. mistermaxxx

Nope. Yep... the Rhino sucks... He has never fought anyone good and he was knocked out by Fres Oquendo... Oquendo knocked him down seven times in the fight with overhand rights... he hasn't fought anyone good since being knocked out by Oquendo. He fought to a draw against Francois Botha in his last fight. He will lose. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

Lennox Lewis is the best heavyweight of his era... he was very focused when he fought Tyson and he would do that to anyone he fought if he was that focused. From the looks of Wladamir Klitschko in his last fight, he doesn't want any part of Lewis either. Tyson is simply better than Etienne... I believe that Jack Moseley is training Etienne now, but that is not going to help him either... Tyson won't be bothered by Etienne. BTW: I really don't like Tyson at all. Etienne must be really bad then, for you to think that Tyson will win. Personally, from watching the Tyson/Lennox fight it looked as though Tyson doesn't really have the fight in him anymore. Although, at the time I did feel that there may have been some sort of conspiracy going on with that fight anyway. I know, I know... there wasn't one.

He didn't lose that fight just because Lennox is a hell of a lot better... Tyson was "off"... he really didn't put up much of a fight, I didn't think. I agree that Lennox is a great boxer... but it didn't appear to me that Tyson was even trying to win.

Evidently after his drumming and dancing career stalled he became a boxer.

I could never understand boxing, why would two grown men want to get in the ring and beat the shit out of each other?

I could never understand football... why would a bunch of guys want to dress in really tight pants and bump into one another? I understand both. If you like chess you will see similarities in both sports. When physical damage is the penalty, it's amazing to see these guys make split second decisions and sacrifice their body.

*Well seeing I was a boxer for 10yrs off & on and a pro 4 a short time maybe I could explain why it drew me in. B 4 I was a fan a boxer, the sports radio man talking boxing or before I got into writing about it (no longer)...I was a kid who when gettin into a street fight would get into a boxing stance. So it felt pretty natural 4 me & being a lefty with a punch helped.. In short I started as a man not a kid so I had 2 learn the skills quicker...Being a prettyboy of sorts I really wanted 2 show everyone I was as tough as anyone was and that I could handle myself. Well I did, it was rough and as tough as U think. I got smacked up and down as most do starting out. But I lasted and learned, and seen many "BIG" dudes & tough guys, gang punks all quit as I hung tough and got my respect. The aspect of it being a one on one human chess match I loved as well...trying 2 out think the other guy was a great challenge. Then there's that showman inside of me that wanted 2 perform in the spotlight...That thrill of everyone wanting 2 know what U were about, if U were good, yelling/screaming your name etc...it makes 4 a interesting rush. In all it was a great experience always something I can say I did. Met some kool people and some real rats! I was blessed 2 not have gotton hurt...well I got hurt, Ooo flashbacks... but i mean no broken bones, cuts, lumps, brain damage, problems talking or got killed as I watched on happen a few times...But hey it has some positives 2 it, not any one sport is perfect. I got into great shape and was able 2 let my stress out at the sametime... that reminds me, I need 2 workout~
