...but in all honesty, the wife & kids did all the hard work. The only thing I really did with the tree was to pick it out at Home Depot, carry it in & out of the car, and set it up on the tree stand.

Then take lots of pictures of it!

I must say folk below Philly seem to lose they minds at the sight of a flake (I don't think it did more than 2 inches (IF that). But still had about 17 people here so it was cool. Lots of and laughs.

Mine aren't even up yet. Our lounge is a bit of a mess as we've had to have a wall taken down a steel joist run across the ceiling as the support wasn't great enough. The place is a mess and the walls and ceiling need plastering/artexing.

Gonna get a tree tomorrow though despite the upheaval.

this is my tree..
a 7' douglas fur
fake.
i've had it since 1992...
i havent put it up since 2004..
no real room for it..
it is currently up in the workshop..
i had to umm..
check it and see if it was still ok..
it has 1 string of lights about half the ornaments and some ribbon..

witht he lights on and the overheads off..
it looks better
