Police said Monday that 28-year-old Brian Bonsall got into a fight at an apartment on Saturday and hit a friend with part of a broken wooden stool.

Bonsall allegedly told officers he had been drinking and didn't remember what happened.

Bonsall played Michael J. Fox's little brother Andy Keaton on the sitcom.

He is being held in the Boulder County Jail and was due in court Wednesday. Jail records didn't indicate his lawyer's name.

Authorities say Bonsall was sentenced to probation in 2007 for assaulting his girlfriend. He was later accused of probation violations.

The father is an ex-hippie liberal married to a lesbian that has been closeted for years. The oldest son is an ultra conservative Republican who is the complete opposite of his parents especially now that his mother has come out of the closet. The oldest daughter is an airhead that is so wrapped up in her clothing designs that she didn't even hear the news when her mother came out of the closet. The youngest daughter has always been tomboyish so she might possibly be another "family" member. Why does one fight with a friend (okay the barstool part is kinda trippy) make one a thug? Maybe they were both drunk.



Aren't the other cast mates fairly okay in their lives e.g. no confusion over sexuality, no getting arrested, no serious money woes (well that's iffy with Justine Bateman) etc. Okay Michael J. Fox has Parkinson disease but he is managing it I thought.

Anyway....I don't think any of them are really dysfunctional....they just have life drama.

FYI, yes Im 36 years old and did watch the show everyday and i did see the pic of him grown up tyvm so why the attitude you just pissed off cause i caught the same thing another did dysfunctional my ass.

NONE of the other so called cast member had run ins with the law IF YOU read up on any of them correctly Tina Youthers had a short music carreer that failed miserably and Justine Bateman makes appearances every so often not alot but enough to barely keep her on the map, Micheal Keaton from what I remember never had a run in either if he did it was breif and a minor charge... so WHO dont do the reading? Surely I KNOW I did tyvm.

Just cause one has tats an dgrown up and decided to get drunk dont mean shit in my book i got 2 tats and never been in jail or had no run in with cops just cause one looks certain way dont mean notta either its called dont judge books by covers.
