One is Candyman--about a grad student researching an urban legend in the ghettos of Chicago...really weird and surreal. But nothing is stranger and more bizarre than David Lynch's Eraserhead, which is filled with repulsive images that never leave you--particularly the monstrous baby!

It was good, and beautifully shot, and yet it was so purposefully ugly! I don't know, it was a really nasty movie. I suppose love in the middle of ugliness was the point, but it was not pleasant! Drawing Restraint 9 It's about a Japanese whaling ship that tries to correct its bad karma by booking couples that mate on it and turn into whales to replenish the ocean. There's also a subplot about constructing a huge petroleum jelly sculpture. That's classic Matthew Barney. Have you watched any of his Cremaster series? (I am not a fan of his art.) I have and it wasn't "the Bjork one"

it was weird in that I could not believe they expect a viewer to sit through that See, I LOVED Gerry! The long sequence of walking in the desert was to show Matt Damon's slowly decaying mind in that he was deciding to kill Casey Affleck. The weirdest movie I ever sat through was Mr. Mike's Mondo Video by Saturday Night Live writer Michael O'Donaghue, which featured Dan Ackroyd showing us his webbed toes, among other highly unfunny things.

I love that movie too. I considered naming it, but I didn't think it was weird weird. Odd & twisted, but not El Topo levels of eccentricity.

Basketcase was some all out weird shit. It's supposed to be a horror flick but it's more weird and bizzare than scary. The noises the creature in the basket makes are disgusting and there's this one scene where he is raping this girl and you're like the hell?
