DID KHAN CURSE KIRK???? So I'm watching "Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan" last night whilst chomping down on aunties homemade pumpkin pecan pie (yum) and the movie is at that point where a bruised and battered Khan is spittin' out his last kick rocks/deuces statement. So he precedes to say:
"To the last, I will grapple with thee... from Hells heart, I stab at thee! For hates sake, I spit my last breath at thee!" Then I recalled his earlier comment: "Ive done far worse than kill you, Admiral. Ive hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you...!" So it seems to me that this could be a curse, you know like an old gypsy curse or something. Consider that after this film, the character of Jim Kirk lost his best friend Spock, his son got murdered by Klingons, he got demoted, got caught up in an intergalactic assassination plot and was sent to prison, and most importantly...never again got any alien pussy! So was he cursed or was all this bound to happen?   | |
