How odd.
I clearly stated in the thread's title that the joke was going to be offensive to some people.

Those people then decided to look at the joke anyway and then say just how disgusted they were by it.

I would like to ask - What level of offensiveness would have been acceptable to you? A racist joke? An anti-religious joke?

Terry Wogan (Presenter and Broadcaster in the UK) once said that, 'Some people watch the TV and listen to the radio just waiting to be offended by something'. I think his point has been proved.

Interestingly, IceNine's thread 'Dead people that you would like to have sexual intercourse with...' is considered okay. Now surely, that IS sick.

Paedophilia in reality is beyond disgusting and I would happily cut off the genitals of anybody who I discovered was taking part in such an activity (and I'd cut off their limbs and watch them bleed to death!).
However, my joke was simply that - a joke. Pretty much ALL comedy is based on tragedy, and all comedy is based on a fictional, hypothetical situation. Anybody who takes ANY joke seriously must be a truly sad individual.

Sometimes, the Org bewilders me.

One thing though, I've successfully managed to get one of my threads removed. How many Orgers are able to say that? More importantly, however, I managed to offend IceNine.

I didn't see your topic, but it sounds like a very risky subject matter, especially with all those laws banning any discourse on paedophilia that isn't a campaign against it. I'm sure they'll get to necrophilia in time.

By the way, did you see the Pete Townshend story? See how risky it can be. I believe his explanation.
