I know. I go there only because they are open late (used to be 24 hours, but now they close at 10 or so). That was the main reason for going there. What really tripped me out was when I used to work in Grapevine and went to the post office at the airport, a lot of the same people that worked there did double duty at the downtown Dallas post office.

Now, the post offices in other parts of town seem to be ok..overall, but I think most postal workers (in general) are typical government employees and need a good kick in the ass.

Nope. That is part of their cutbacks. I know during certain times, they are open until midnight or so, but that's it. I think they close at 10. They also have a self-service machine that they are trying to push people to use. It's setup like an atm and is really convenient.
