Any Fans Of The Mary Tyler Moore Show? I'm officially addicted to it

I once took an acting class with the Emmy award-winning director of the "Chuckles Bites the Dust" episode. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I love it when Phyllis & Rhoda go at it
But what gets me is, how they made a gorgeous woman like Rhoda act as if she's suffering from an 'ugly duckling' complex I know comedy can be exaggerating sometimes,,,,but thats eyebrow-raising P.S. I also didn't know that John Amos was a regular in the 1st seasons

I fell in love with the show around the mid to late 90s when Nick at Nite used to play it before my bedtime. I still watch it when it comes on METV here in Chicago. It's a staple part of my week to watch Mary and her kick ass outfits.

Yeah, Betty White was a riot in MTM as well although its the same 'typical 1950s woman' parody she did in "Golden Girls", but she's more aggressive in MTM.

The confrontation between Cloris & Betty had me in tears these 2 nailed the "snobby bitch" role to a TEE. Yeah, if you're a 'Golden Girls' fan, you're gonna love this one [Edited 11/14/09 8:35am]

Although, if you're gonna watch the show strictly for Betty, she made her 1st appearance in the 4th season untill the end of the show.

She slept with Lars, Phyllis' husband. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

One of my favorite shows, I'm a big fan of Mary Tyler Moore's period: 'Dick van Dyke' > 'MTM Show'. Betty White is a "fool", she use to do a lot skits on the The Tonight with Johnny Carson. Had me in tears.[/] ===== [Edited 11/14/09 10:51am]
