I believe in diversity. The Org is of course quite pro-Prince, but I'm happy more diverse views seem to be represented. It's too bad that fairly knowledgeable posters keep to one site that closely matches their views. Yes, it is human... but a little boring after a while.

The best topics,as far as responses go, are the philosophical topics. You, Wellbeyond, Tackam and others will get in there and really discuss things with me... we don't argue, we debate. That is my very favorite thing in the world.

The political topics are bombarded many times by views that are so closely held that they poster loses his/her fucking mind.

The physics topics get about 2 replies and those are from me... trying to get the topic going.

The religious topics bring the right out of the woodworks! Damn... those get ugly!

The "fam" topics are just funny and amusing to me... there is no defense, only indignation and attempted insults.

Personally, I don't see what all of the fuss is about, though I am finding it amusing.

Princefams.com existed before any of us ventured over there while the org was down. While some my like how the site operates... sickenly positive and slow, others may not and may like the diversity of the org or another site. The only thing that I am happy about for going there is that I came to know a few orgers a lot better. Do I need to thank Princefams.com for that? No.

I believe that the reason that some are so upset about the two or three posts about fams on this site recently doesn't really have to do with the reasons given. I have checked that fams site and no one there complained about their feelings being hurt or anything of the sort... so I think that there is an underlying reason for all of this.

The point is, this isn't anything new... why all of a sudden is it a big deal? If it isn't post after post about fams it's something else... aren't we all aware of that by now? We go on a tangent, grow bored with it, move on and return to the same thing all over again.

While some are viewing certain posts or certain orgers as being to harsh or not respecting others, I am feeling like there is a sudden onslaught of peace crusaders.

This is nothing more than a continuous process of baiting people that has been going on on these boards for some time. It started with the Jehova Witnesses (who no longer post); continued with Nep2nes, for whom I had no symapthy, but who was ganged up on, lashed out, and was banned -- in THAT order; continued with RaneStarr, who was a friend of mine, was again ganged up on, and was banned. Despite the fact that I can see the problems people have with what she posts and the way she posts it, she has a right like anyone else to post what she wants. Same goes for Ne and the JWs. I would think a libertarian could see that.

Now, it is continuing with Shorty. About that more doesn't need to be said because Shorty unlike the others can handle herself.

It's sad to me that the moderators seem unable to identify anything other than curse words as flames.

BOTH of them would attack others on this site for no reason and others attacked them as well... Tony was not the only one. I will give you that Tony may have gotten into it more with them, but it was their choice on how they chose to react to his posts. They could have easily ignored him.

Rane started in on me and wouldn't let it go. She is to blame for her being banned. Not Tony... not anyone but herself. She is responsible for how she reacts.

And, perhaps there is more going on than what we see on the boards as well, private conversations that we cannot see.
