Bye Bye Birdie... so Ive loved this show since I was a kid...great songs, great story..
Went to see it today with the fam, cause Uncle Jesse himself John Stamos is starring in it. Oh, so is my lust Gina Gershon. She's great, she can actually sing...John Stamos...well..he was ok. It's alot of money to see a broadway show these days, and now at least the actors come out and sign the programs for you....cept for John Stamos, who autographed some programs and had security pass them out. Please understand this isn't a knock against Stamos. I loved him as Blacky in General Hospital... In general Im just surprised that this is the 2nd broadway show we've seen this year where the actors arent' miked properly, or the stars could have stronger voices. wow. when i was like 12 or something, i was in a little talent show with a bunch of kids singing some song about a ring or something from this show.
