Yup. I took a master class in sense memory with Joan a couple years ago.

Very, very nice person - and a great teacher.

I love it when Phyllis & Rhoda go at it lol

But what gets me is, how they made a gorgeous woman like Rhoda act as if she's suffering from an 'ugly duckling' complex eek

I know comedy can be exaggerating sometimes,,,,but thats eyebrow-raising lol

P.S. I also didn't know that John Amos was a regular in the 1st seasons hmmm

I fell in love with the show around the mid to late 90s when Nick at Nite used to play it before my bedtime. I still watch it when it comes on METV here in Chicago. It's a staple part of my week to watch Mary and her kick ass outfits. biggrin

It's about a single working girl in Minneapolis. What's not to love?

lol

Actually, the only thing I know about the show is the theme and what I said above. I really need to watch it some time.

Yeah, Betty White was a riot in MTM as well lol although its the same 'typical 1950s woman' parody she did in "Golden Girls", but she's more aggressive in MTM.

As much as I love Mary, I think the other ladies of the show(Betty, Valerie and Cloris) are the ones who REALLY raised hell.

The confrontation between Cloris & Betty had me in tears evillol these 2 nailed the "snobby bitch" role to a TEE.

Yeah, if you're a 'Golden Girls' fan, you're gonna love this one nod

Although, if you're gonna watch the show strictly for Betty, she made her 1st appearance in the 4th season untill the end of the show.

SueAnn was a bit of a "ho", tho. She slept with Lars, Phyllis' husband. lurking

One of my favorite shows, I'm a big fan of Mary Tyler Moore's period: 'Dick van Dyke' > 'MTM Show'.
Betty White is a "fool", she use to do a lot skits on the The Tonight with Johnny Carson. Had me in tears.[/]

I'm not really fimiliar with the Dick Van Dyke show other than the few clips featured from her Biography segment hmmm

She did a cool movie with Julie Andrews & Carol Channing back in the 60s though where she was basically playing 'herself' lol

I mushy Ms.Moore though.
