I cannot wait for this movie!!!! It's playing in limited areas right now. I'm going to go see it on Friday. I have to drive to Santa Cruz to see it. It's not far. For those that don't know Santa Cruz, California, it was Santa Carla in the movie LOST BOYS.

As a Horror Fan, these days I kinda go into horror films with the assumption that I'll be disappointed.

I didn't find Blair Witch scary, and I felt they really blew the ending. It was so rapid that most of the people in the theater (when I saw it, at least) were asking, "Wait, what was that?"). If they had spent some more time on that ending, I might have enjoyed it more.

I love a good scary movie, and they're almost impossible to find anymore, especially now that torture porn is all the rage. I hope this one lives up to its promise!

My friend has a recording from yrs ago- an old answering machine ... where there was a soft " goodby " and though it was a bit scratchy, it was clear enough to hear and tell it was female
...

it was recorded early in the morning before she woke up

her Grandmother died early that morning which she did not find out until around 10 am

I saw this last Thursday night at a sneek preview in Santa Cruz. As a big horror fan, I hated the Blair witch film and went into this movie thinking it will be more of the same.This simple movie worked!The movie has its slow moments but when it was time to creep or scare ya, it delivered.Its a perfect film for the Halloween season and alot of fun hearing screaming audience members.

But then again, I don't find horror movies particularly scary, though I do 'jump' at jump scenes. I'm also not the least bit afraid of the dark or believe in ghosts.
