I remember following this story when it first broke in the news, but I had no idea her injuries were this extensive. I've always heard chimps were strong, but I had no idea they were capable of this kind of damage. I would have wrapped my hands around that chimps throat and strangled him to death. But if the owner stabbing him with a knife didn't stop him, I guess trying to strangle him would have done no good. God be with this woman, she's lost a lot.

No wonder Mike got rid of Bubbles, lol.

nod
Now we all know why, this woman should have done the same.

Let's be clear that the victim wasn't the owner of the chimp

I know, her best friend was, the same friend that says (even after this tragedy of her best buddy getting mauled beyond recognition) that she has no regrets of owning a chimp and would do it all over again. confused

nod Yup! She had been sharing her Xanax (that was prescribed for HER) with her "son" the chimp for months (because she said he was anxious, lol). She would give it to him in his tea.

The owner of the chimp is being sued for 50 million dollars (which she obviously doesn't have).

PanthaGirl

When will peeps learn that these animals belong in the wild or in a zoo and not as pets in domestic backyards. This is the result of stupidity and the relevant authorities for allowing peeps to own these type of exotic animals. Such a shame, I wish her much health and luck for her future and the settlement.

At the very least she should have had a way to deal (kill) it just in case. I wish that woman peace on the rest of her journey. God bless that woman.
