happy thanksgiving!!! 
ok..i didn't see one so if there is one.. mods you know what to do.. but just in case.. halloween is gone til next year.. secret santa is revving up..and i was looking thru here noticing.. thanksgiving was missing.. do you celebrate it? what will you make....? where will you spend it...? and of course what are you thankful for....? i'll probably spend it at my sisters..doing most of the cooking maybe 
so i celebrate.. 
but i have to sit and think about what i'm thankful for... i have life.. i have friends.. and my friend is fighting off the cancer..halfway thru chemo!! 
i have nicknamed her 'chemobaby'
i still have a part time job 
and i'm gonna think some more.. So..what are you thankful for? [Edited 11/22/09 17:29pm]  'why y'all trying to say goodbye? I didn't go anywhere, I'm right here, im all around you,always..'

I'm cooking. Having a few friends over.
I picked up some movies and we will basically eat n drink and watch movies all day. I'm thankful for our new home, my cupcake, and my friends n family. | |

Like Christmas, it's just not the same. It'd be ok but when my family call from the UK on Christmas Day it just brings home all that we're missing. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank my British brothers and sisters without whose complete and utter inability to control the settlers of the Americas lead to such cherished holidays. If not for their mediocre handling of foreign policy circa the last half millennium this week would just be any other week.   | |

I am hosting dinner at my house for 21 family members!! So much work to do, but I love the smell of the turkey in the oven!!!!! I'll bake my pumpkin pies on wednesday evening. Thankfully my aunt lives with me and is my right hand, bless her.  | |
