I doubt you would want our heat though, it's oppressive

we're not even into summer yet, and all this week it's 90 every day sad

This summer i made ALOT of the wedge salad.... You quarter a head of ice berg, into a wedge shape. pour your dressing all over it and i topped mine with garden cukes, tomatoes, some bacon, these AWESOME onion things kinda like what you put on green bean casserole cept these were soooo much better, and thats about it....I know I know you say its just a salad that isnt chopped up...but really it is so much better! the lettuce doesnt get soggy from the dressing!!
I used blue cheese but ranch is good on it or any of your fav dressing! You can also add whatever to it! Eggs, beans, olives, onions etc....

I would just completely die if I didn't have my rice cooker in summer.

Do you have one?

Throw a crapload of veges in with the rice, mix some stock in with the water and turn it on. 15 minutes later it's done...all you have to do is stir it when it's finished and spoon it out.

You can use risotto, put cherry tomatoes, shallots, mushrooms, peas whatever....it's all cooked when you're back and all you do is spend five minutes chopping things up!

Especially do it with risotto, then mix cream in after it's cooked. Perfect!!!!!

If you want to put meat in, go and get some of the really thinly sliced stuff at your local korean store (as long as it's fairly fat-free or it'll end up too oily)....just chuck it in!!!!!

It's also very healthy.

Then eat it with a cold salad! thumbs up!
