I don't do the annoying bragging thing too often, but in the midst of raising four kids, cooking all the family meals, working 45+ hours per week in a high-stress job, trying to be a good wife, mother, friend, daughter, person, AND starting my own business, I'm pretty proud that I'm also wrecking shop in a pretty challenging college course - especially considering I got knocked up at 17 and dropped out of high school.



I wouldn't be able to pull it off though, if JerseyKRS weren't such a kickass husband, father and household organizer/accountant. :gratitude:

I'm just loving my Thai family right now and loving spending time with them. Loving my wife, seeing her change for the better, learning from her awesome mum, but not losing that fun, free side to her that makes her who she is. Loving my nephew pretending to open a can of beer, gulp it down, before making this 'aaaaahhh' sound and clapping his hands to congratulate himself. If ever I feel lazy or smug or taking anything for granted I just try to make myself useful by thinking of little ways I can make my mother in law or father in law's or maybe my nephews' lives better in some way. Usually by finding ways to have fun, and often it costs nothing. Together, this family has an awesome capacity to have fun no matter what's going on.
