Guinness is God. No doubt about it.

Whenever I move I don't ever consider a pub a local until I discover they can pull a good Guinness on tap..

Oh my goodness my Guinness.

That and my Grandmother used to wash my hair with it years ago when I was a child.

My grandmother (a Kerry woman) told me to drink a glass of it each day when I was nursing to help my milk production.

My favourite alcoholic drink by a mile. I only started drinking lager out here because it's difficult and expensive to get Guinness here. Love it!

Something I've found out is that it's great for cooling your mouth if you eat something too spicy.

Oh, and Guinness is actually red in case you didn't know. smile

Lagers have too much burp factor to me.

I didn't know about the red! Do tell.

Yep. I don't get full on Guinness like some people complain they do either.

Well, it's just red. Hold it up to the light and you can see it. Looks very cool when it catches the light just right. cool

I didn't know until I went to the Guinness Storehouse the first time and they told us, and sure enough it's true. Tell that to some people and they're adamant it's not true though. lol

Ok, I'll let you off. So long as you've tried and tried to like it. It is a different kinda taste. So what do you drink when you go out?

Cool. I love Corona. G&T too, but the Schweppes tonic here is foul, just not the same. I like vodka and juice too, actually. Vodka and orange usually.

Mon loves kamikazes. I don't love Mon on kamikazes. falloff

The good thing/shame about it is if you managed to get out here, by then Mon would be all sensible already. She's still fun these days though, but sometimes I do miss those crazy nights out where she would just let loose. lol
