Anyone else here just get the urge sometimes to just get up and dance? I've been sitting here listening to music all night and sometimes you just get that urge to get up and let loose!

I'm talking about bouncing around, silly dancing! My kids and I do this often! Fun stuff!

I can't believe Im going to say this: at times depending on what Im listening to I will get up and do a mini concert..if its a good song Ill play 3 songs from the artist and be at the mic dancin and singing like I have an audience out there watching past the couch. I've done this for so long and so many times that I started doing it in front of people and they stare there dumbfounded because I come across with these rock-music moves out of the blue..I think I turned someone on once with my scthick. It was a guy though lol. I scared Nikka Costa once onstage.

Alot of times. I get out alot of Tension especially Sexual tension from Dancing. If you can't have Sex ...Dance...

When this mood hits, I do a headbangers chick dance/thrash... Although, I was never a headbanger chick.

Last night I was listening to my new New Order box set and I just spazzed out for about 20 minutes. Dancing with my dog, skipping in place, flying around the house. I was totally manic and ecstatic. I do this a lot actually. In the comfort and privacy of my own home of course. When I'm out, I'm much more reserved.

It's my favorite way to do housework. In fact, I can't even clean anymore unless I have music on I can sing along and dance to.

It can get quite dramatic when I'm all alone.

Yup. It happens whenever I hear the "right" house music... usually deep/disco house with some jazzy bits to it (especially a horn or flute solo).

a big YES, as often as possible, it makes me feel real good !! I love it, I eaven dance under the shower singing loud and drumming on the showerdoor!!
My neighbours think I'm nuts, but hey, I don't blame'm !!

I do not dance since several years, only veeery, verry seldom at home and alone.

I dance a lot when I'm very happy But, mostly I sing...I sing about anything and everything. Petting the cats can end up as a song...my boyfriend just laughs at me.
Since he's been spending more time with my family he sees that my mom, sisters and brother-in-law do the same thing.

Yes, especially when I am doing housework...I'm alone, free and who the heck cares..

Has anyone been dancing in private and thinking no one is looking and then ya got caught?

I do this sometimes...complete with spins and SPLITS ala' James Brown and LIL MAN. Soon my old behind won't be able to so this...(LOL)!!! I'm a great dancer.
