Airbrush Makeup

A friend of mine just bought an airbrush makeup system eek

Have you ever had your makeup airbrushed on ?

Did you like it and is it so great you would never go back to applying it otherwise ? lol

She told me to swing by and she would paint my face - she took classes an everything !

hmmm

Keep the settings low and apply in light strokes.

I think it's overrated as an everyday option.
For special tasks and stenciling effects sure. thumbs up!

A friend of mine brought her kit to show me (she knows I used to do makeup). She was all excited about it. I was like, you have to pull all this shit out every morning?? confused lol

Anyway - Yeah ... I am not a daily makeup person

I would not invest in a system but I am going to let her paint me smile

I say either liquid with a brush or powder/mineral with a brush are simplest/convenient and effective everyday options.

I really look at airbrushing (mainstream, not for certain artistic effects) as a trend. I really think the reason it appeals to some is cause it looks and feels like you're doing something professionals do (seen on tv lol).

Except they'll never be able to do it like the professionals do.

I currently use Laura Geller Phenomenal Foundation (a liquid) over her Spackle primer. It's very natural and the primer helps the color stay put - which is nice, because it doesn't sweat off onstage.

PanthaGirl

I had it done as a trial before a wedding at a professional designer beauty spa, and it felt and looked terrible. My skin was tight and felt like it was gonna crack, makeup looks awful if it's caked on, au naturel makeup is beautiful, especially Chanel or YSL.

It was fun ... looked a bit too made up for me ( plastic face = LOOK at my made up face syndrome ! )

Felt weird too

Not really a look I would go for in makeup but I can see the appeal for those that really like makeup n toys n shit

peace!
