Where can I get a ringtone that sounds like a ringtone?

Just got a new phone, but of the 25 or so ringtones on it, I can only tolerate about 3 of them that actually sound like a call alert. The rest of them all sound like music and they're awful.

And I don't want any music ones. I just want it to sound like a phone is ringing. All the sites I've found only have song-clips as ringtones and I hate that.

Anyone know a good place to get something like this? I've got Verizon, so if someone can tell me how the hell to find them on verizonwireless.com that would be ideal. If not, I can look elsewhere.

I need that ringtone for the TV show 24. I think I'll sample it.

I can make any ringtone with audacity but this is so much quicker. I got Mission Impossible, The Munsters, Peter Gunn and Yoda. lol

my phone (AT&T Nokia) has the option to shop for ringtones via web. The only problem is you can't hear them until you buy them, but I got a regular ring because I hate the music, too

My lord, I HATE all the ringtones that came with my AT&T phone--all annoying music. The only one that doesn't drive me crazy is the cash machine, but even that one isn't so good. I'm going to have to actually spend money on a ringtone eventually (which is something I told myself I'd never do).

It's worth the couple of dollars! It's as if the stock ones were designed to be annoying so that you'd get to shopping.

Actually now I use the stock Nokia song because it's the least annoying (but I also hear my phone ringing all over town)

I have a Nokia unlocked and AT&T and this site was a godsend! But it supports most other phones. Best of all it is free ninety nine. I will not being paying $2.99 for a ringtone ever again disbelief

I also got a gorgeous purple flower theme that matches my cover (feeling purply all of a sudden but it works with this phone) and a gorgeous dolphin wallpaper. My ringtone is "Indian Flute" by Timbaland, LOL. My phone also plays regular music as ringtones. Quite awesome! I love my new Nokia!! thumbs up!

you can download to your phone via computer/USB

or you can download with your phone using internet (that's easier to me)-it is really simple to use, at least with my phone.

I downloaded the tone to my hd and used my bluetooth to send it to my phone. Took less than 30 seconds.

there is actually one GREAT ring-tone on my phone, and that's the classic, old-fashioned analog phone bell ringing. i've wanted it forever and i'm delighted it's on here.

but all the other ones and the alert tones are crap.
