Uh uh, they talking about the gang activity. Honore can whitewash all he wants to but that's been a problem in recent years. But they don't know if that's even a factor here.

This is really terrible-my heart goes out to the soldiers/families/employees at Fort Hood rose I use to live on Fort Bragg and I know how it is when a post is locked down for a long period of time.

It's interesting that a tragedy like this occurs just as the President is going to deploy more troops eek

Yeah, but these guys are under some unprecedented stress so nothing surprises me at this point. Plus IF this guy and/or the collaborators are of Middle Eastern descent it could be something more than just soldiers "snapping" That would actually explain the multiple gunmen angle. confused

Me too, strikes VERY close to home. I lived in Killeen and started elementary school there and both my parents live in the area. Not to mention my dad and uncle were both stationed there. Reminds me of the Luby's massacre all over again but worse. sigh

I need him to do what he said he'd do. Deploying more troops isn't changing a thing. I think Texas has lost more troops than any other state. I can't even watch the news cuz everyday they talk about another local kid 18, 19, 20 years old killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. confused

Luby's was so sad rose My ex is active duty and we were stationed at Fort Bragg for a while. Unless a person is military or has been military they cannot understand the stress that these men and women and their families face daily. The whole thing is just sad.

Wasn't it just yesterday they buried another soldier? So sad to die at this age. I'm hoping that the President does not deploy anyone else-guess we will see.

I have a lot of military fam. My brother's ex-marines, sister navy, lots of cousins serving, and they weren't even American when they joined. So, I understand the sacrifice they make too well. So it pisses me off that our soldiers are being placed in a futile, no win situation.
