I don't know if anyone here can help, but I figure someone might. I enjoy the old TV show "Mister Ed". I found out it was based on 20+ short stories by Walter Brooks. In the stories homever Ed was afraid of spies, recited, hamlet, and got drunk. I'd love to know if these were ever published in a book and if so, which one(s)?
