Once again I am coming to my org friends for help. November 14th I am throwing a baby shower for my eldest daughter, to welcome her 2nd baby girl into this world. I really need new baby shower game ideas....

So what kind of new and original ideas do you all have? Any and all help would be welcomed.

I had a baby bottle drinking contest when I hosted my cousin's baby shower a few years ago. The one who finished drinking the "liquid" in the bottle first won a prize.

"Guess the stain"

I went to a shower once where they played this. Everyone got a piece of baby clothing that had some kind of stain on it (food, baby Tylenol, formula, etc). The clothing had all been washed - these were actual stains. And there was nothing that could constitute a bio-hazard, if you know what I mean.

It was semi-fun.

At one shower, the host took the labels off baby food jars and people had to guess what each one was.

Baby Bingo: (Materials- Pens, Pre-Printed Bingo cards that use the numbers of how many people attend the baby shower) Prior to opening the baby shower gifts, number each gift on the box starting with one. If you know that 15 people will be attending your shower, pre-print bingo cards with numbers 1 through 15 and randomly place them on 15 cards. When the mommy-to-be's decides to open the presents, she grabs the present she wants to open and reads the number out loud. As soon as someone receives bingo, they win the baby shower game and the baby shower prize.

Guess How Many Safety Pins: (Materials- Safety Pins and Jar). Pass around a jar full of baby safety pins. The one who guesses the closest wins a baby shower prize. A baby shower game favorite!

Who Can Make The Mother-To-Be's Baby: (Materials - Baby magazines, Scissors, Glue, Paper). Have the women group up into teams of 3 and give each 3 baby magazines. Have them cut out pieces of different baby qualities and put together a picture of what they think the Mother-To-Be's baby will look like. Have the Mother-To-Be pick which baby would possibly look like hers the best! Give prizes to the winning team! One of the top baby shower games!

I like this one:
You put out as many baby related items on a tray as you can: baby bottle, baby pin, small blankie, baby powder, diaper, pacifier, baby spoon, etc.
Then you cover the tray until everyone get's a chance to look at the tray at the same time for 10 seconds. Then you have each guest write the name of as many items as they remember on the tray. The one with the most right items, wins.

If your gonna have men there ( as someone pointed out above) they had us drinkin beer from a baby bottle and the winner got a prize

she gave all that entered a little necklace made of ribbon and tiny pacifiers
and anyone that mention the word baby had to relinguish their necklace to the person that heard them and who ever ends up with the most necklace around their necks got a prize... (It's pretty hard not to say the word baby at a baby shower)

also the women had to guess the width on the expectant mother's belly (what they did is cut ribbons to the length that they felt would perfectly go around her belly and the one closet wins a prize.
