My son missed his bus home...

And instead of being angry i am very proud.

He saw a little boy he knows crying in the playground...he (X) didnt know where he was supposed to go ( he is autistic).

My son knew that the boys brother was going to a friends house so tried to find him to find out how X was getting home.

he told a teacher to hold the bus for him, and explained why...in the mean time X had ran off!!!

He couldnt find X's brother, but found X..and made sure he got to his mum okay...

just in time to see the bus taking off!!!!
Teacher said they couldnt hold it anylonger. mad

thank goodness for my sister, she was able to pick my boy up.

Poor rugrat thought id be angry with him for missing the bus sigh

I am so proud of my boy, he is turning into a little man with compassion/empathy for his fellow man.

mushy
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

Congrats on raising such a beautiful spirit!
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

some days i wonder whether im doing the right things, then he turns around and does something like this.

he told me, mum, i actually feel bad if i see someone in trouble/upset and i cant help.

i just hope he doesnt take the weight of the whole world on his shoulders.
