some good career advice is always welcomed from the org, as well as music from artists other than Prince.

For the record, my opinion of this thread is set in stone. It's a success. No lack of posts or posts deriding it will change that. Thank you.

There is a section on Rove's TV programme called "PeteSpace" and he welcomes 3 new friends each week, usually newsworthy because of silly internet infamy.

Thanks to the org I already know all about each one already. I'm still waiting for Dan and Erik Torkells to be Pete's new friend, to me that was the highlight of the year.

omg charlotte, i never realised it, but, yes, Petes Space sometimes does have some obscure friends...and its the org mostly where i hear about them giggle

serious news on the org usually makes our local rag a week later confused
seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

That many orgers are thin-skinned and can't handle an opinion other than their own.

What have you learned from the org? How much stock do you put in orgers' opinions? Have any threads or orgers led you to completely change your opinion on a subject? Are there particular orgers whose posts you always make time to read in full because you know they might teach you something or give you something new to consider?

Yes, indeed! I find that people are the same no matter where the physical location, and we all have the same problems and it is good to see that many of us here are supportive of each other in various situations.

good karma was at work that day.
it was my brother in laws house, and his young son usually went down for his nap around that time. this day he didnt, stayed outside with his dad while his dad tinkered with a car.

My nephew has CF, and smoke would have caused enormous damage to his already fragile lungs

so so lucky

Yes!

The org has expanded my musical horizon, folks like Paligap and tA(Uncle Neal) put spread alot of knowledge for folks like me who're hungry to learn about more & more music.

You also have folks like BlaqueKnight who put alot of thing into perspective when it comes to the nature of the business.

And then there's the P&R crowd, like Ms.2Elijah and Mutha(who got banned for being too blunt in a so-called open discussion) I might disagree with these two sometimes, but I ALWAYS keep my eyes open whenever they speak because I never cease to learn from them.

Wow, thank you worship Ms. Harlepolis, I appreciate that. hug
