What have you learned from the org?
For every idiot, there's 2 or 3 or even 5 incredibly cool folk.

How much stock do you put in orgers' opinions?
Depends on the orger. I'm pretty set in my opinions usually. boxed

Have any threads or orgers led you to completely change your opinion on a subject?
Not completely that I can recall, but maybe once or twice...close to it. I might be set in my opinions, but that doesn't mean I can't be made to understand where another's is coming from.

Are there particular orgers whose posts you always make time to read in full because you know they might teach you something or give you something new to consider?

Yes.

I've learned a lot from this place. Mainly from the Europeans. it's very humbling to see what other people think of us. I put a lot of stock in the opinions of the people I respect or care about here.

I always read Lamma's posts, Thready's, 728Huey's, Soulpower's. They strike me as brilliant people whose thoughts are always well thought out and not as emotional and irrational as mine can be sometimes.

One of the biggest lessons I learned was that Prince fans are not really different from regular people like I thought they were and it's really too bad.

She did. I called it about 5 times around 4pm and then she turned it off. mad There's about a 50/50 chance of her being back by midnight and about the same of her having the Burger King. pray

How much stock do you put in orgers' opinions? Opinions are opinions ... they hold weight for exactly what they are ...

Have any threads or orgers led you to completely change your opinion on a subject? Completely ? Hmm2: No

Are there particular orgers whose posts you always make time to read in full because you know they might teach you something or give you something new to consider? Indeed also there are others that I will skim over because them often times seem to not mentally engage me

Yes!

The org has expanded my musical horizon, folks like Paligap and tA(Uncle Neal) put spread alot of knowledge for folks like me who're hungry to learn about more & more music.

You also have folks like BlaqueKnight who put alot of thing into perspective when it comes to the nature of the business.

And then there's the P&R crowd, like Ms.2Elijah and Mutha(who got banned for being too blunt in a so-called open discussion) I might disagree with these two sometimes, but I ALWAYS keep my eyes open whenever they speak because I never cease to learn from them.

I dont think the org has influenced my opinions on to many things but what i have found is there is ALOT of crazy ass fun loving caring people here and that is what keeps bringing me back...

I have LEARNED alot about other peoples cultures, religions, races, and sexual preferences. I LOVE finding out other things about people from the smallest thing like what kind of food you eat to how does one feel about life's issues...

Its nice that Prince brought us all here initially, buts its even nicer to share in your lives! grouphug

I won't name names, but the org has absolutely influenced some of my thought. Can't say it's completely changed my mind about anything pointed, but it definitely has effected more nuanced thinking about those things, sometimes supporting what I'd previously thought, sometimes challenging it.

What have you learned from the org?

Variations of music and bootlegs.

How much stock do you put in orgers' opinions?

None, they're just the opinions of others.

Have any threads or orgers led you to completely change your opinion on a subject?

No but it's cool to analyse the psyche of others.

Are there particular orgers whose posts you always make time to read in full because you know they might teach you something or give you something new to consider?

No.
