i had an altercation @ work yesturday (the 10th). there's this dude (Carl) who i THOUGHT i could consider 2 b a friend & b4 i got Married (on the 5th) i got a haircut & the barber kind of messed the front of my hair up so Carl has been "raggin'" on me the last few days & i've been having a bad year @ my job & haven't ben making any $$$ like they said i could but anyway... Carl decides he wants 2 just rip in2 me every chance he get so i give him the & he decides 2 take it personal. now 4 the last YEAR Carl always has somethin' 2 say he can dish it out but he can't take it. so i "try" 2 apologize 2 him & salvage what i THINK is a Friendship but he sez he doesn't want 2 have anything 2 do with me anymore & so i call him a "BITCH" 2 his face & walk off. becuz he was acting like 1. sayin' he doesn't owe me anything or whateva. that's just the BIGGEST cop out...


the point of this is that i'm always NICE & Cordial with him & every1 @ the job. (& even my personal life). i mean DAMN when can a Brotha get some Respect & then people wonder y we LASH Out when we just get sick of the BullShit.


how come we as Human Beings can't b CORDIAL all the time & "try" & i say "try" 2 get along & have Respect 4 1another...


we need work as a whole... does anybody Agree or have a similiar xperience 2 share???

naw, not really but sometimes he can b an "Ass" & u know how some people will laugh & other people'LL shake their heads. he gets away with A LOT of ish people don't normally get away with. he's been there when the company 1st started & he can b a Good Guy @ times but like i said... he can dish it out but he can't take it...

that's y i called him a "Bitch" 2 his Face & walked away becuz i tried 2 salvage what FRIENDSHIP i THOUGHT there was & he was like "get away from me"...

It happens. It sounds like a misunderstanding to me. You said when you gave him the finger you didn't want him to take it that personally (or words to that effect). He's just being arrogant. Don't blame yourself 4 getting into that situation. If he just accepted you apology there would be no situation.
