And he was totally awesome!!!!

often in life we meet an "idol" and our expectations are thrown down in flames, not this time.
He was very engaging...he spoke for an hour but it flew by like seconds...

afterwards he did signings and my son gave him a card he made, with a photo of lego inspired by one of his novels...he made such a fuss out of it..pointing out bits that he recognised
made my sons day

it is well worth the wait...and i got to tell MR that myself
i had an advance copy of Six sacred stones, so had to wait even longer for Five greatest warriors than those who purchased SSS on release date
(i did purchase a h/b edition for my collection)

no advanced copies with five greatest warriors

i was so excited on release day...staff at work thought i was on something
(well, i do work in a book shop, and did go in on my day off and harrass storeperson til book arrived )
