Who works for a boss they actually hate?

Because seriously, I do.

Whilst he does get things done, he micromanages like a muthafucker (if that makes any sense). He also has obvious favourites for reasons I just cant understand? I sound jealous LOL, but I hate people having favourites for no apparant reason.

Most importantly, he has no personality and no sense of humour what-so-ev-er! I cant do anything silly or say anything funny to this fucker at all. No charisma or anything! Now this is not his fault really but still...

Really? Thats tough. Someone at work complained saying he didn't have enough people to help him get his job done properly (which was true), and my boss just turned and said to him "so quit then!". This is the sort of arrogent fucker I have to deal with.

My boss is self centered. If you look at her pics and compliment her on her clothes, you will stay on her good side (regardless of work quality).
She bases her work decisions on her emotions and who kisses her ass the most.
We've got people in positions where they have no business being.
I can name about 10 different ways that our firm can save money by doing things other ways than what she has implimented.

Basically, she's the poster child for the reason that you DON'T want women in charge.

Sadly, no one in upper management see it.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Profoundly but only because he started hatin' first. Not that I like him but if you got to work with someone 8 hours a day you better start adjusting.
He's an ass and I gain nothing by acting like an ass myself so I just do my work and ignore him, saves a lot of stress. He hates also that I think like that.

My boss is what I call "sometimey" Sometimes he's cool and sometimes he's not
The vibe is different when he's in the office.

I hate it when I see his car pull up in the parking lot.
(OMG....he just drove up lol)

He yells at people. The day he yells at me,maybe the day I get fired mad

I try not to hate people, but at the last place I worked, I really, really, really loathed and disliked my boss. She was a terrible manager and a petty, insecure person. After 3 years of putting up with her bullshit - to the point where it was physically affecting me - I resigned. If I never see her again it will be too soon. But if I do see her again, I plan to look her up and down and then laugh in her fucking face.

My boss is fantastic and understand...but that can be a prob sometimes as 1 guy just takes the piss (like today when he broke the Annual Leave rules). Trouble is shell be leaving soon and any replacement will change the place.

With that in mind I'm looking for a new job

What man do you know who brings pics into work and goes over them for hours? From one desk to the next, taking up co time? Most women are based on emotions and compliments, they feed off of it, men do not.
I'm all about the end results...and I expect my boss to be the same.

I've seen plenty a male boss love a good ass-kissing, showing off pics fo their kids or the stupid fish they caught that weekend. I don't see how that's any different.

Point being - annoying behavior is just that, as is being a bad boss and has nothing to do with gender.

eek I don't have a problem working for professional women. I have a problem working for unprofessional women, those that still have the characteristics that kept women out of power for so long....your venom is misdirected.

Would you say that blacks have characteristics that have kept them out of power for so long? That a particular bad boss epitomizes why you don't want a black person in charge?

If you did, would that be racist?

I really don't understand why that particular analogy keeps being used on the Org. It's really not the same thing at all. And it's pretty damn offensive.

wave Except mine is a woman who took her title to the head instead of paying more attention to organizing our department. She's a trip. She's worried more about how people dress than if they are doing their job correctly. Seems like all the employees who halfway come into work on time yet still LEAVE ON TIME, get these raises UNDER THE TABLE while employees like me who do what they are supposed to and then some have to almost beg for a raise which we get turned down for. That's why I've been looking for another job the past 7 months. I was very close this summer to getting something else, but nothing came of it. But my time will come when I will be able to throw that two weeks notice letter in that bitch's face. I even had a dream that I got laid off from that dump and was actually happy about it. Sad.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

That's exactly how my boss is....but sadly, I have to agree with where you are coming from with the female boss thing. disbelief It's not that I'm a sexist person, but for some reason, in the workplace, when you put SOME women in charge they take it to the head. Like my supervisor for instance, she "mysteriously" got bumped up to "Associate Director" when our department didn't need one, she got the bump up because she sucks the bitch ass director's ass. The director is retiring soon and someone told my supervisor that the job was automatically hers.....well according to the auditors that came in this summer, their recommendation for the director's replacement should be someone from outside the company...so upper mgmt did away with my supervisor being "automatically" bumped up to director position and decided to do a nationwide search. As a result, my supervisor claimed "she felt she shouldn't have had to compete with other candidates for the director position" and therefore, didn't apply for the director's position...but the current bitch ass director pulled some strings and got my supervisor bumped up from "manager" to a newly created position - "associate director". Apparently my department has been screwed up for years even before I got there, but seems like now upper management are trying to rearrange managment in my department so that the bullshit can stop and some real professionals can get in there.
