Now that Halloween is upon us, a bunch of people (and I'm sure a number of Orgers) will be heading to Halloween parties dressed up in various costumes. But I've noticed that in the past few years, at least among the adults, costumes have gone from being scary and creepy to slutty. People used to dress up as monsters or Hollywood slasher-film murders (Michael Myers, Jason Voorhies, Freddy Kreuger) or freaky gothic horror women (bride of Dracula or Frankenstein), but now there are a lot of women dressing up as naughty nuns, slutty schoolgirls, dominatrices, dirty French maids, or prostitutes while guys dress up as pimps or cops and/or cowboys in leather chaps. At what point did Halloween go from being about bring out your inner ghoul to bringing out your inner whore?
