Everytime I went out to Richmond to meet with families or pick up cases, I made sure to stay on the main roads and just get in and out with a quickness. My sister who goes to the school, actually her friend knew the girl who was raped. they said that they made all the kids do a healing circle. my sister saids there been alot of security. I blame the school, when i went there, they had cameras that did not work. they put to much emphasis on this electronic billboard we have on the lawn infront of the school. my sister is offended at the number of the people who are attacking the students of the school! she states that online a lady stated that richmond high kids are animals. I find it unfair to blame the whole school as a collective. | |

I know that's right!! i think thats a slightly being over dramatic. i went there! nothing had to me. i mean there were lots of drugs, i imagine that even the most catholic school have drugs problems as well, of course i live next to richmond! so i don't know if my opinion is valid(i live in san pablo) | |

I live on the border although it's cool over here, I have seen shit go down that's not cool at all although it's really rare. When I was starting high school, everybody wanted to go to De Anza El Cerrito Pinole Valley Richmond High has had a bad reputation for awhile now, even though I think Kennedy (where I went to for summer school once) and even Pinole Valley (where I went to for 2 years) could've been worse at times (I saw a near riot break out at Pinole over race) "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them.
