i've had bad experiences with celebrities. However, I've learned that they're human too. Just leave them alone, don't expect anything from them, and treat them like any other person. Sometimes famous people get sick & tired of people asking for autographs and pictures. And can you really blame them? On the flip side, if I were famous I'd want to meet lots of people because when the limelight dims connections are valuable. | |

I read some stories on Okayplayer about Jordan....dude's fucked up here's one where Charles Oakley caught an ass whoopin' So Mike, Oakley, and these busted ass white broads come up in a club I was working at... Anyways, the clubs were all no smoking establishments and if someone was caught smoking during business hours, that was his ass 'cause the spot would get fined and Mike wouldn't pay that shit for the club.
ANYWAYS... Mike and these busted white broads are sitting up in the VIP and he's like, "No pictures, no camera phones, none of that shit." so we comply... THEN, this n**ga pulls out a giant cigar and starts smoking it in the club... Bouncer goes over and says, "Yo, you can't smoke in here." and Oakley starts mouthing off to the bouncer. Bouncer comes over and is like, I know that's Mike and all, but I'm gonna straight kick his boy's ass. Another bouncer goes over and gets the same treatment... So you can see these n**gas getting on their walkie talkies and starting to gather on the stairs talking to each other. Head of security goes over and tells them one more time that Mike can't smoke in the club... Oakley starts mouthing off the the head of security (oh, who was also a MMA fighter) and that nigga grabbed Oak by his collar and pulled him down so they were eye level... Then all hell breaks loose. Oak tries to push the security guard and all the other bouncers just spring on that n**ga... And you know you're not winning a fight with 5 bouncers. That n**ga got his shit kicked in in front of everyone... jacket ripped, face bloody, and just in generally bad shape. They dragged his big ass outside and left him in the snow. Fucked up thing was, MIKE AIN'T EVEN MOVE THE WHOLE TIME! He saw it all go down like, "Welp, its Friday and that's the day Oak gets his whoopin. Oh well... back to these busted white girls!" Living in Minneapolis, and being the nephew of JellyBean Johnson (sorry uncle), I have met my fair share of superstars. Several things I have learned. If there are 1,000 fans in the joint and you sign 999 autographs and forget to sign that one, just one!! Guess who gets the press? You got it, that one person who did not get an autograph. Never mind the fact that you signed for a kid in a wheel chair. Or stood, or got on one knee for 30-45 minutes, in the freezing snow or rain or blazing sun, waiting for someone to take a picture of you with their kids. If you don't sign that one autograph, you are a bum. Or if you forget a persons name. OMG!! That still cracks me up. With the tipping thing, get over it. If they tipped $200 dollars, people would wonder why they did not tip more. If they tipped $20,they are too cheap. Trust me, it gets rough trying to figure out a good amount to tip someone. Replace "Michael Jordan" with "Prince" and the comments on this thread still makes sense. (Except maybe the no tipping part...) But if this was a "so and so disses Prince thread" all the "dissers" would be haters and everybody would be  Prince's ass.
