There was a special on not long ago about "The Exorcist" and two things had me spooked.
#1 The novel on which the film was adapted, was looslely based on a true story. Supposedly in real life the possessed child was a 13 year old boy who lived in an uppercrust DC neighborhood and supposedly due to his possession there were also a lot of unexplained and horrific murders in his neighborhood. #2 The movie has subliminal messages in it that encourage people to worship the devil and use drugs. #3 Pregnant women who saw the movie suffered miscarriages. carry on | |
