anything you're tempted to eat that you know will kill your insides?

Well not that it will kill my insides but most certainly cravings for chocolate and biscuits and cake (how stereotypical am I) . Never liked toffee apples that much but toffee itself I love but really hurts my teeth does that count?

I used to have EP aswell... (otherwise known as Emergency Pastry) this was generally coming back from the gym with my brother... can't help but feel we missed the point of the gym with that one!

There's a Lebanese bakery that I occasionally visit, and yesterday I tried something they stock called "laban ayran." It's basically plain yogurt mixed with milk and water. It's not bad -- except that they add about 1000 mg of salt per cup!! I could feel my insides slowly crystallizing as I drank it.

It's an interesting novelty, but I have no idea how people could consume this stuff regularly.

Equal parts yogurt & water (add salt to taste!)... Really great with blended-style fruit yogurts too (forget the salt!)

Oh, god, I know how you feel. I love their coffee and they have a medium coffee and two donuts as one of their specials all the time. It's so damn hard for me to resist the call of their donuts, especially the chocolate glazed.

I always turn to things like donuts, cinnamon rolls etc when i dont feel good... I think they are a comforting food! If it makes you feel any better I made monster cookies yesterday and came home from work today and ate 5 of them... I soooo have to run an extra mile tommorow!!

My step-dad had a heart attack at the weekend. I consoled myself with a toasted-cheese sandwich!

It´s actually plain yoghurt with water, served icecold. The yoghurt has to have a high fat content though....low fat ayran doesn´t taste as good as the fatty stuff. Thing is, good yoghurt is very hard to find in the USA.

Disgusting! This is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in my life. And I am completely serious! I swallowed the tiny spoonful I put in my mouth and tried not to gag. I drank water. I ate bread. I ate bites of everything else on the table to try to purge that flavor from my mouth. It wouldn't leave me. Brian had planned to take a bite as well. That is until he watched my reaction to it. He decided to just smell it instead. He said "that smells like a barn." And that is exactly what it tasted like. Like a barn filled with stinky, sweaty cows. I took a bite of stinky, sweaty cow barn soup. Yuck.

Oh...and the reason I had always steered clear of it before was because the main ingredient in Iskembe soup is what we might call tripe...or cow stomach.
