Some people were just plain mean to him. He did have some different opinions but people loved to gang up on him. There were a few orgers that jumped on him no matter what he said. Mob mentality.
Showed a lot more about their own character than his.
The old threads are still there, it is sad the way he was treated. In general, he took all the abuse with good humour.
Spats shouldn't have been banned, though some of his tormentors should have been.

I don´t consider Hiin, EvilWhiteMale,Seekingtruth or any other of the rightwingers very controversial for various reasons that I don´t want to elaborate on right now. Time for them to come back though....I may disagree with them almost all the time but there needs to be more balance in the P&R forum...those Dutch muslimhaters aren´t as eloquent as some of the other usual suspects.
