Some people were just plain mean to him. He did have some different opinions but people loved to gang up on him. There were a few orgers that jumped on him no matter what he said. Mob mentality.
Showed a lot more about their own character than his.
The old threads are still there, it is sad the way he was treated. In general, he took all the abuse with good humour.
Spats shouldn't have been banned, though some of his tormentors should have been.

I didn't always agree with him, but Spats was one of my favorites(same with Mutha). He wasn't about making brownie points, he gave his honest opinion. But like I said before, some of these cats are PC/thin-skinned bitches who act like you robbed their mama if you think different than they do(or goof on their favorite celebrity).
