Every night.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

That doesn't really happen in Tampa because it never gets cold enough to where your house tries to "settle". So it doesn't really creak or make those strange noises.

Doesn't happen in Thailand either. However, in Thailand even if it DID happen, the sounds of the dogs and other animals trying to eat each other with their subsequent howls, yelps, squeelz, and blood curdling screams drowns out the house sounds.

I remember my girlfriends house in Germany made strange sounds in the Winter. Sometimes, it sounded like somebody was taking steps in the house. lol

I tried wearing earplugs to drown out the morning noise in the house (ie:sister getting nephews ready for school),but then all I could hear was the sound of me breathing, and I found that annoying as well lol

I got used to that, usually even with the ear plugs I can still hear the master snoring confused

This house makes noises at night though. Like clicking noises, but a little louder. Seems to come from these parts high up on the wall that link with the roof (I don't know what they're called in technical terms). Also, we've had a rat in the roof just above our bedroom lately, just scratching around. neutral

We get footsteps out on the stairs too. shrug

ok, I admit, my aunt's house may not be the best example of a common Thai house falloff

When I moved into an apartment I used to live in the noises would scare me. Get my imagination going. Sometimes I thought someone had broken in or was trying to break into my place.

I got myself a night light for the hallway and that solved it. Plus I got used to the sounds.

I don't believe in a higher power.

And if I've been a jackass to others I just ask for forgiveness from them directly.

That's what works for me.

I just noticed last night there aren't too many sounds in my place. Nothing more than my big ass neighbor stomping over my head like an elephant, the guy is so heavy footed...but Beyond that it's as quiet as a Chicago graveyard in here:hmm2:

that usually happens to me when i travel somewhere where AC isn't used as heavily as it is where i come from, or they use the type of AC that barely make any sound.

it really drives me nuts coz i cannot sleep in complete silence, and the tv won't do either, it has to be the AC sound lol

Hell yes. I live on top of a mountain and the wind up here is amazing. Sometimes it sounds like the house is going to fall down.

Occasionally there's this eerie creaking sound which took me ages to work out - two tree branches rubbing together. Sounds like the kid in The Grudge (original Japanese version)

for years, when I'd lay on my hammock in the back yard and it was really late and quiet, I'd here this faint pinging noise...I tried forever to figure out where the noise came from...it was only a couple of months ago that I pinpointed it...our neighbors tree rests right against our chain link fence...I'm pretty sure that noise is made as the tree grows...it is one of the most unique sound patterns I've ever heard...
