OK. I've been putting this off for a very long time. By little Compaq Persario has to be reformatted. My iTunes libary on that notebook hasn't been backed up on an exteranl drive. (I know, save me the lectures ) So I need to move my music to an external hard drive and back on to the internal hard drive after I'm finish reformatting the machine and adding RAM.

My question(s) my iTunes Folder and Amazon MP3's Folder within My Documents Music Folder: How do I move my iTunes/Amazon MPs's onto my external hard drive. Will I lose the album art, ratings, EQ options? Will I lose the music I've added to iTunes via my Cd's? I have about 1,350 s songs and about 18 videos/movies. Thanks a lot for any assistance you can give me.
