15 - I'm 34.

And I've done a lot of speaker-hugging in my day. redface

I know I've permanently damaged my ears strictly by the amount of shows I've been to and the lack of ear-plug wearing I've done.

lol I think my hearing must be alright. I've noticed I seem to talk quite quietly. Doesn't sound it in my head, but I've noticed people have trouble hearing me, but maybe I'm just mumbling and have a monotone voice that blends into the background noise. Aksel/abierman seems to have a terrible time hearing me. lol

me too. I actually have a little bit of ringing. But I always wear earplugs for shows now & rarely listen to loud stuff anymore.

Actually I think Musicology 2004 was the main cause of the ringing in my ears! that was the loudest show I can remember seeing in a long time.

I don't always remember the ear plugs, but usually I do these days. But there was a time I'd spend several nights a week dancing practically on top of a speaker. lol So I deserve what I've got, I suppose.

you should check these out, they reduce the volume but don't make everything all muffled.

I play in a band so I have custom made ones to fit my ears, and I am totally addicted to them. I never see live music without them anymore.

You might have something here. People have trouble hearing me sometimes too!
