I saw something in Walmart by Memorex a machine that cleans/repairs cd/dvd. Comes in a kit and also you can buy the refills. The price was in the $20 range.

Yes, I use the cleaning cloths, and disc cleaners that are sold for that purpose. Be careful. smile

Pledge works for me.

Once cleaned, make a back-up.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I ran across the remedy for cleaning and removing scratches from disc a few years ago...it works with proven resuklts 95% of time. Use toothpaste (regular paste, not the whitening stuff), rub a thin layer across the disc, let it dry and rub clean with a lint free cloth.
